Field Guide to Birds of Prey - Meadville Public Library

  • Meadville Public Library 848 North Main Street Meadville, PA, 16335 United States (map)

Looking for a bit of Wonder in the midst of Winter?  Join Meadville Public Library and meet Birds of Prey that serve as animal ambassadors for Tamarack Wildlife Rehabilitation Center.  Although you won't be able to touch or hold the wildlife, there will be several animal ambassadors present for you to see up close.

Melissa Goodwill, Tamarack's Outreach and Education, will introduce us to these treasured ambassadors as she creates inspired connections between our program audience and the natural world around us.

About Tamarack Wildlife Center: Tamarack Wildlife Center is dedicated to rehabilitating injured and orphaned wildlife and educating the public about wildlife conservation. Founded in 1989, the center specializes in treating birds of prey and other wildlife species. They prioritize returning rehabilitated animals to the wild, but permanently injured animals may become educational ambassadors. Through live animal presentations and educational programs, Tamarack aims to foster appreciation and understanding of wildlife.

Registration is required, there are 38 seats available.
