Services We Provide
community homes
This program provides a home with 24 hour staffing for people with intellectual disabilities. These homes are licensed by the Department of Human Services.
Lifesharing homes
Families/single people share their home with someone with an intellectual disability. These homes are licensed by the Department of Human Services.
Community participation support (cps)
This service provides day support to people who receive residential services. A staff person accompanies the person in the community. People who use this service can learn something, volunteer at local non-profits, improve their health through exercise, attend community events and a variety of other options. This service is provided Monday - Friday 8am-5pm.
In home community support (ihcs)
This is for people who live in their own home or with their family. We provide one on one staffing to support the person to do whatever interest them in the day. Staff can help with shopping, attend medical appointments, complete laundry, visit with friends, volunteer, attend community events and a variety of other options. There is no time frame for this service but it is normally provided during daytime hours.
companion service
This service is provided to people who live in their own home or with their family. This service provides one on one staffing for a person and is typically used to provide support during the night time hours and can be utilized in combination with IHCS to provide 24 hour care.
supported employment (se)
This service is used to provide a job coach for a person who has a job in the community. This service can also be used to help someone find a job. Staff that provide this service must complete a training course and receive a certificate in Basic Employment Services.
Respite
This services provides a temporary place for someone to live. This is typically a time limited service (30 days).
