The Allegheny Department of World Languages & Cultures will be screening “The Teacher’s Lounge” (Germany, 2023, Director Ilker Çatak) at the Movies@Meadville.

An investigation of stealing in the teacher’s lounge of a German middle school leads to trouble for a young, idealistic teacher. Nominated for the 2024 Oscars, the film won at the 38th Goya Awards for Best European Film.
