Do you want to make a difference?

Do you have a heart that is longing to be of service?

Do you have a home that you could provide care, support, and compassion in?

Do you have a family, a circle of friends, or community that you would like to share with another person?

If you can answer yes to any one of these questions, please consider becoming a Life Sharing Provider (LSP)

with Supports, Inc.

What is Life Sharing? Supervised by Supports, Inc. the Life Sharing Program will match an individual with an Intellectual/Developmental Disability with a family/single person in the community to live together in a family unit or in some cases, as a companion/housemate. In addition to providing a good home, the LSP actively participates with the person in cultivating self-care, social, and communication skills. In doing this, the LSP assists the individual in becoming an active and contributing member of the community. Life Sharing Providers find their own lives enriched by caring for individuals in their homes, and participants thrive in a home environment as part of a caring family. Much fun, excitement, and opportunity can be found in the heart of this program. We have partnered with families in our community since 1992 to provide this life changing service and we are looking to expand our program currently. A LSP receives a stipend based on the individual’s level of support needs as well as monthly room & board reimbursement which are all tax-free.
